What’s the difference between luxury vinyl plank and luxury tile?

The only real difference is the form; both are options with luxury vinyl flooring. Luxury vinyl plank is long strips placed on boards to mimic hardwood (LVP). When cut into groutable squares, it is called luxury vinyl tiles (LVT).

An excellent value for your decorating dollar

It is also referred to as LVF. LVF is a 100% waterproof and highly durable product that is easy to install with low maintenance. It is five times thicker than the original vinyl with several layers. The first layer is a backing layer that prevents mold and mildew. The core layer is PVC vinyl, which is very flexible and waterproof.

The design layer is where 3D photography comes into play. It has wood, stone, and tile images, with incredible detail. It is micro-beveled and embossed for texture, depth, and dimension. At the top is a layer of melamine, a clear, strong coating that guards against scuffs and scratches.

There is no effort to keep it clean; it is just regular sweeping and light mopping. Crayons, markers, and lipstick come right off. Installation is also easy with a floating floor. Finally, the pieces click together into place.

The perfect alternative to genuine materials

With LVF, you can have wood floors in your bathroom or kitchen. Have you ever wanted to turn your bathroom into a high-class spa with marble floors? Do you have a basement where you want a wood floor without the hassle of moisture? All of these are available with LVF.
